About
During my elementary years, I ate the same sandwich every day: cheeze whiz and mustard. Weird? Yes. Delightful? YES!
Trivia items for future reference:
I am fluent in French and English and possibly pig latin.
I have a Bachelor of Education (with distinction) in Secondary Education (jr high and high school).
I was married at 20, had Sacha when I was 24 and Kees at 26. So no, the wedding was NOT because of the pregnancy.
I taught physical education while pregnant. Dodgeball, anyone?
My beverage of choice is a tall extra hot Tazo Chai.
I love pink (despite years of denying this love affair to my friends and family).
I was a Ukrainian dancer for 8 years 9 years.
I am a pianist, vocalist and flutist with over 19 years of experience.
I have a slight obsession with my kitchen.
I am Roman Catholic. Well, technically Ukrainian Orthodox, but we’re in communion with them, so it’s like the long lost brothers of the Mass.
I am left-leaning in the political world. Come from a long line of NDPers.
I love shopping. It’s a curse, really.

I counter with:
tuna and peanut butter
chocolate syrup and huckleberries
and of course peanut butter and brown sugar.
Makes me shudder now. Really– tuna fish– ick

cool blog! I am inspired. What a wonderful way to achieve the highest level of Maslow’s pyramid of needs.
ie. I suspect from encountering this wonderful personal webpage that you are truly an individual for whom the internet has achieved it’s ultimate raison d’etre – I would say that you have achieved the highest level of personal accomplishment, that of having a perfect representation of you put into cyber space – the nobility of your Being has become eternal!
P.S. I too have the soul of a mama – in a papa’s body, alas.

I’ve heard peanut butter and pickles is rather lovely.
However, Peanut butter and ham (awesome) is as far as I’ve ever gone into the depths of peanut butter experimentation.
